1. Visa

Contestants who are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan are responsible for applying for it. If an invitation letter is needed for acquiring the visa, please apply for it to the TIPC Office when submitting the Consent Form.

2. Insurance/Compensation for Damage

In principle, the organizer will not compensate for any physical, material or mental damage caused or incurred by the contestants during the period of the competition and other programs associated with the competition. Each contestant is responsible for his/her necessary insurance.

3. Neighboring Rights

All rights for broadcasting, distributing, performing, audio and visual recording, publishing, photographing, etc., of performances for all TIPC rounds, the opening ceremony and awards ceremony and any related performances held after the conclusion of the TIPC will belong to the organizer.

4. Protection of Personal Information

All personal information of applicants and contestants collected for the competition will be controlled by the organizer and solely used for this competition in accordance with Japanese Law.

5. Legal Guidelines

  • ① All support and allowances, prize money and appearance fees received by the contestants are taxable under Japanese tax law.
  • ② Any disputes that arise in connection with these guidelines will be resolved according to the original Japanese text of these guidelines and Japanese law.
