7 Registration

7-1  Competition Consent Form

Competition Consent Form sent by the TIPC Office shall be returned no later than December 25, 2021 (in Japan Time). * Your entry will be confirmed with the receipt of the Consent Form.
Contestants who wish to decline the participation shall contact the TIPC Office by December 20, 2021 and send Competition Declination Form no later than December 25, 2021 (in Japan Time).

7-2  Entry Fee

Contestants shall pay a competition entry fee of 20,000 yen to the specified account by January 15, 2022. If the entry fee is not paid by the specified date, the contestant shall be disqualified.

7-3 Contestant Registration

Contestants will register before the contestant orientation notified by the TIPC Office and attendance to the contestant orientation will complete the registration. This rule does not apply when the Chairperson of Jury allows that the circumstances are inevitable.

7-4  Financial Support for Travel Expenses

Contestants will bear the travel expenses in principle. If applicable, however, the amount specified by the organizer will be provided.

【Contestants who reside overseas】
JPY 50,000 for those who currently reside in Asia (specified by Foreign Ministry).
JPY100,000 for those residing in an area other than the above.

* Japanese living overseas needs to submit the necessary document such as Certificate of Residence.

【Contestants who reside in Japan but currently study abroad】
Half of the amount above.

【Contestants who reside in Japan】
Contestants who reside in Japan are not subject to financial support for travel expenses.

* All grands are paid in Japanese yen. As needed, proper transportation will be provided to the contestants between the competition/practice venues and the accommodation (which was specified by the organizer) for free of charge. All other transportation costs will be borne by the contestants.

7-5  Financial Support for Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided to the contestants from three days prior to the start of the competition (March 12 (Sat), 2022) to the dates below. The accommodation cost will be borne by the TIPC Office only for the accommodation designated by the TIPC Office. All other expenses occurred during the period of stay, including meals, communications, etc., will be covered by the contestants.

  • Contestants in Round 1: until the next morning of the day when Round 1 ends.
  • Contestants in Round 2: until the next morning of the day when Round 2 ends.
  • Contestants in Round 3: until the next morning of the day when Round 3 ends.
  • Finalists: until the next morning of the day of Winners' Concert.

* Contestants will be introduced to local families if they indicate the desire to participate in a homestay program after the TIPC is finished.
